When you pause, it stops the map's BGM, all fine and good of course, but is there an option to resume the audio rather than re-start it?

That's what happens when another BGM plays during the pause screen. :P There is a way but if I remember correctly, you'll need to disable the custom pause BGM flag (setting it to false) and enable the pause bgm flag.

I'm not really sure what to teach you about. You just have to use PK8_Pause_Script.run
Is it perhaps the fourth code, i.e. my pause script you are talking about?

I've now got it so that the BGM/BGS fade and that the image shows up and goes away with an transition!

Have you figured out how to make it show over the message box yet? That would make this script perfect. Or did you already do that and I'm just missing it?
