It seems students really hate that good for nothing minister of Education in Costa Rica. Laughing He even declared he would request an investigation to find out if it was motivated by a rival political party. =_= It's so hard for him to admit he's lame and he didn't even study anything even slightly related to education...

I have to ... relay this.

As some of you know, I'm 52 years old. What many don't know is that my father is 92 and has been suffering from Dementia, mild at first but now fairly advanced. It's hard to handle, getting him to eat while he has the attitude of someone roughly four and not wanting anything. Not able to get him to sleep when its night time, and constant moaning which is apparently common.

This morning, he tore a pillow apart because he wanted to wear it as pants. He found shoe laces to tie is legs together. And he hoards opened 'Hershe'ys Milkshakes' so he can drink them days later... when they're bad.

That's what's always on my mind.

Well, an aunt of mine is going a bit senile already, but I can tell for sure she hasn't reached that stage as of yet. I guess she'll be like your father in a couple of years or so. Confused

It's gonna be a pain. Especially when they loose all appetite and don't want to eat anything. There were times I had to spoon feed, and he was unwilling.

He wants ICECREAM for breakfast in the morning.

Yeah, we definitely hate that ridiculous minister of Education. Some political parties already ask the current president to dismiss him! Shocked

So Trump finally gave up and doesn't plan to block Huawei products any longer... Confused

RE: What's on your mind? - DerVVulfman - 06-30-2019

“We send and we sell to Huawei a tremendous amount of product that goes into the various things that they make, and I said that that's ok.”

There must have been a negotiation on intellectual property rights and penalties for tech theft.

Well, I wouldn't BUY a Huawei device now, nor does that concede allowing Huawei products IN to the U.S. After the Chinese Law passed two years ago that Chinese Tech companies must work with and collaborate with their intelligence agencies... NOPE.

I don't know if anyone knows about dementia, but it can go from mild to advanced in no time.

My dad had mild dementia for months, this being mainly having trouble with his memory and having a bit of a sweet tooth. This, not good for his medication: high blood pressure and content for his digestive system.

But now, his dementia has advanced. An advanced stage generally involves hallucinations at times, sometimes of a non-friendly nature. This can result in fits of depression. They may suffer from temperature imbalance, wishing it to be warmer. This may explain Florida. Constant moaning is also recognized. However, the moaning may be a result of many factors, the hallucinations, fear from their old age, pain, depression, temperature, or an involuntary action. This is clearly not good for sleep. Getting someone with dementia to have a good night's sleep is a miracle, as they may have only a few hours of restless sleep while wanting to stay awake because of bad dreams. They may nod off throughout the day because they didn't have the needed rest. And yes, they may talk in their sleep in a barely lucid state.

Vision changes, so colors blur. Blue and white colors are harder to distinguish while colors like red against white are easier to see. And then there's the enhanced sweet tooth coupled by depression. This can result in a nearly complete loss of appetite because nothing tastes good and they're not in the mood for ... anything. And if their vision changes, nothing 'looks' appetizing because they can't tell the plate from the tablecloth... or the food for that matter. Bright red bowls are recommended for contrast when serving meals. This, I can attest as my dad can't get enough of my V8 Berry drink. "I want some more red." And then there's Ice cream for breakfast.

This has been on my mind.

Here in Costa Rica the minister and viceminister of Education have finally resigned on Monday, but since last weekend there have been dozens of blockades in several regions, preventing people from traveling freely to the Northen region or the Caribbean. Sometimes the police have used brute force to disperse the "renegades" aka protesters that aren't satisfied with the government's policies like Uber, purchasing drones for very specific administrative tasks in the ministry of education, IVA or the tax that is imposed on products and services at the same time. Well, we were one of the last few countries that didn't have such a tax, yet. There's a truck burning like hell, tear gas by the dozens, police men pushing protesters away, and more ugly stuff. By the way, an architecture's firm owes the fisco about 3.000.000.000 colones or US$5.176.200... Confused Here a guy steals a pig and gets arrested the same day or the day after but white collar criminals stay away from jail for years, in this specific case for 5 years and there's no trial scheduled, yet...

Oh right, last night's results... Brasil 2 vs Argentina 0 so now Brasil qualified for the finals! Meanwhile in Concacaf, Haiti 0 (0) vs Mexico 0 (1) meaning Mexico won the match in Extra Times thanks to a fake penalty kick sanctioned due to a non existing fault. Mexico had MANY chances to score but failed to do it. Haiti visited its rival's goal a few times but a coupĺe of minutes before the end, it hit the frame right in the corner. Confused I really wanted Haiti to score then. Sad

Well, Silly, it seems you would have loved that movie if you had learned Spanish before, of course. Laughing

Curiously, the article didn't include Canada in the list of countries where similar activities have taken place so far. Does the Canadian government care for all those "Sillies" living there at all? O_o?
