RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 12-29-2016

I feel like I don't care about anything else in this life because I just wrote another poem earlier today! It's titled "Until My Lips Turn As Black As Yours" and according to some of my very few readers it's a sad but romantic poem. Sadly, that was no my intention at first, I was looking for some "dangerously sharp" inspiration instead...

Edit:

Actually that dangerously sharp topic was handled in my latest poem titled "My Muse's Awakening", it's not exactly a good one anyway...

RE: What's on your mind? - Bounty Hunter Lani - 01-02-2017

I found my really old notes of Destiny of End, from about 7-8 years ago, when I first got the ideas to make the game, before my very first data corruption.

My oh my have things changed... Random Latin translations from Google Translate I got during school time, completely switched names, nixed characters, planned movie references, a completely different ending with totally different villains throughout the game...
Really has me thinking how far the idea has come after all these years.  Happy with a sweat

I also found some old unopened Yu-Gi-Oh collectibles that are worth 5  bucks each now apparently Laughing

Oh! And I found some super old cheat code books and a random Shonen Jump booklet as well. Some Bleach, some Naruto, and other random things inside...

Ahh, the things you can find under all the junk.  Tongue sticking out

Well, I'm here to tell you that I'm glad about how well I've performed this first week of the year, I've written seven new poems so far, 33 poems since June 2016, and I think some of them might be interesting for you. Perhaps you would find some of them unique like "Rocky Colossus" (a poem about a volcano), "Birch Beer Pawn Shop", "A Vigilante By Own Choice", "Take It All Away From Them" (about a villain's origins story) and my latest one "Slippery Mobs" about Pokemon Go...

I wonder who are those about 80 users that have read my poem titled "The End Of My Cycle" so far.

Seems like a lot of dedication to your passion. Do you plan on publishing or something?

RE: What's on your mind? - kyonides - 01-15-2017

I don't think 43 poems would suffice to convince any editor to publish them.

RE: What's on your mind? - Ahzoh - 01-15-2017

Decided to get back to trying to make a track and I still can't do it. Can't seem to think of good chords and variegate them.

I did math things for conplanet. It is named Sedi and it has three moons: Uzzoti, Nnukhi, and Shurdi.
Nice little diagram to scale:

Shurdi is the middle one and it has a ring system. A miniture Saturn for a moon.

Data regarding the moons are found here:

Today, I have had it with scam phonecallers. When the same 'SCAM' phone number makes phonecalls roughly 20 minutes apart, you have a problem. When the phone call is a 1-800 number using a synthesized female voice to tell you that your 'Windows will be locked as your activation is expired', you know this scammer needs to be taken down.

Of course, I performed a few checks, scanning reverse phone-number websites which (yep) said it was repeatedly reported as a Scam number. But then I decided.... to communicate with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) itself. You got it. I reported the phone number to the Feds. Ya know you can do that online, right? If not... https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1

Yeah, fed up with Scammers and those stealing the hard earned money of others.

Eerily, I had an encounter with scammers as well. One guy called me, telling my sister has had a traffic accident and need money to settle it down to avoid going to court over it. I cut it down right here as my sister works relatively close to where we live and doesn't need to drive or even take a bus to her workplace.

The nerve of some people, I tell ya.
