all day i've felt like i can think things clearly, but when i try to speak them, there's some huge defensive end who only lets the retarded bits through.

Why do so many JRPG's feel the need to harp on about GROBAR WALMING even when it has nothing to do with the set-up for the plot (looking at you, Vesperia)?

Look, guys. I get that Final Fantasy VII was the greatest game ever, the cure for prostate cancer, the Elixir of Life and a bunch of other exaggerations that I don't really believe; and I get that writers and developers always follow the leader when a shiny, happy new idea comes out but... it's been fifteen years. You can't keep playing with Uncle Squeenix's toys forever. You're big boys now and the neighbours are starting to give you funny looks.

Sorry for my absence; among the things I've been up to are these two things:

1) Composing more music for the upcoming Half-life 2 mod known as War of the Servers.

2) Virtually finished a mod of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. No, this isn't an original custom story but an ACTUAL mod. XD

Heck yeah, this contest should be fun! I did try to get started on some stuff we discussed in PM but I think we'll wait a couple days before we officially do it, I've gotta get some last minute tasks done.

I was reading the news, started reading the comments and... just... people piss me off sometimes man, I swear! The intelligent people make up 1% of the conversation, but it is always a crowd of delusional monkeys that run things and... its almost like my computer screen is covered in poop when I read some of the crap they say.

I click on a story about CPS has 13,000 children and are in desperate need of foster parents.... no comments. Nobody cares? Hey, whatever...

I click on a story about a gay rights protest at Chick-Fil-A and it's a shit-storm of arguments between a bunch of bible-thumpers who supposedly know God's opinion because it is in a book authored by mortal men who supposedly talked to God (not to mention re-wrote by a king because he didn't like the original version) and the common mortals who actually use some of their brain power to form an intelligent argument.

I have my own opinions on gay people; most of them are alright people, there are a few I can't stand, then there are the ones that make me absolutely uncomfortable. Does it really affect my life much? Nah, not really. Do I think they should be allowed to marry? Sure, go for it! Do I think they really have control of who they like and should live in delusion of their attraction and be with the opposite sex because of popular opinion? Hell nah! As long as they're not attracted to our children, they should be accepted into our society and allowed to marry.

...But that's just my opinion.

Allright, someone who's better at math then me please tell me how this makes sense:
Starting september, when I "go back to school" to aquire the next step in my job area I will be getting ~139€ Bafög (It's something you can get while you're reciving job education at certain schools, don't worry about that) with which I am supposed to by school books and stuff, buss tickets for roughly 50€ a month, food at school and all these nice things, all right? The days at school will be long and I'll probably have to study for a few hours after it if I want to make sure I pass so getting a side job is unikely.
Now, from the 139€ I'll be getting I will have to pay my health insurrance which isn't covered "because I get to much money". The health insurrance is going to cost me 150€ a month.
So tell me, how does this make sense?

Also: sorry for not beeing online much lately, I'm tring to prepare myself for the next two years.

Hmm, I don't know how financial aid works there, but that does seem sort of sketchy.
How many hours of school per day are we talking? And what kind of school is this exactly?
