This week, Save-Point added a new Fix to block GMail Spammers. A feature offered by GoogleMail/GMail has been abused by many spammers to avoid detection by services that check for blacklisted eMails, this feature being the free inclusion of periods (.) within their addresses. Even Google's own spam filter cannot block the flood caused by their own system. As a result, Save-Point has now prohibited eMails that contain the offending periods within the addresses.

General Chat
This week's News of the World likely shocked millions with the arrest of Ex-Prince Andrew for charges betraying his country and sharing confidential data with the late Jeffrey Epsetin. The UK prime minister and King Charles III, Andrew's brother, have thrown support for the law in this instance. Because of this scandal, legislation is now in the works to ensure he is removed from the line of succession and never have the chance to sit upon the throne. Fallout from the US release of the Epstein Files reached Paris as the French police raided the Arab World institute in connection with its former head, ex-culture minister Jack Lang; not only for his connection to Epstein, but he and his daughter for tax fraud violations revealed in the same said Epstein documents. The story of the Nancy Guthrie case continues, the Sherriff brandished as vindictive to the FBI such as sending evidence to labs in Florida which he admits could take years rather than utilize Quantaco's state-of-the-art. The requard for the Today's Show Host's mom has more than doubled. And while a convicted felon was being briefly detained with his mother in a SWAT raid two miles from Mrs. Guthrie's home, no link could be found. Of the US and politics, California is crying foul of the Federal government looking to investigate claims of unemployment and Covid-19 Pandemic-era fraud following other such investigations in New York, Minnesota and others diverting healthcare dollars. New York City is finding its new mayor breaking promices as Mayor Mamdani who vowed only to tax the wealthist has now threatened New Yorkers with a 10% proerty tax hike. And in Mamdani's NYC, the ex-Professor charged with holding an actual machete to a NY Post reporter now has a $400K tax-payer funded art exhibit. And on another story of violence, a man reported missing in North Carolina showed up at Mar-A-Lago with a can of gasoline and a shotgun. When he failed to obey police orders and aimed the shotgun at the officers, he was subsequently shot and killed. While the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine were initially seen as constructive and beneficial, Moscow apparently decided to reverse source, launching a new slavo of airstrikes while replacing their key negotiator during the trilateral talks. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, after two hours, ended the talks as he accused Moscow of dragging out the negotiations and blocking any sign of a breakthrough. While he does trust US President Trump for his work towards peace between the two nations, he is at odds understanding how Trump could continue having a relationship with Russia's President Putin. And while Zelenskyy met world leaders on the grim four-year anniversary, showing how Russian Drone attacks could be seen as nothing more than barbaric terrorism, Kiev fired missiles at and destroyed a major Russian missile factory while fowing that Ukraine will not lose the war. In the middle east, a shocking report shows that female protestors imprisoned and raped by Iranian police are being sent back dead to their families with their wombs hacked out. And Iran is now applying pressure on the UK, delivering a British couple to a 10 year sentence on espionage charges with no transparency or apparent evidence. Meanwhile, Iran and Russia have been staging joint military drills despite global outcry over the public massacres. Despite how many times US President Trump has urged Tehran to take a deal, the United Nations IAEA has instead urged the US to strike a deal. During all this, exiled Iranian princess Noor Pahlavi’s makes passionate plea for regime change. And in Gaza, Hamas is now turning its back upon the US brokered peace plan, accepting only an international force as long as they remain. This in violation of the agreement signed declaring they disarm, that Gaza is to be completely demilitarized, and that the Strip be ruled by a technocratic committee that ultimately reports to the Board of Peace, Venezuela may seem to be making good on its promises, but the amnesty bill that passed their ruling party's legislation has been criticized by human rights organizations for falling short of offering relief for hundreds of Maduro-era political prisoners. Meanwhile major Mexican resort towns are under siege as drug cartels lash out after the death of "El Mencho", the leader of the brutal Jalisco New Generation Cartel in a military raid. The US State department urged Americans to shelter in place, some already communicating they've been trapped in the region. Eleven arrested in France for beating a far-right activist to death, Steven Speilberg fleeing California, claiming to be closer to his chilren rather than the state's 2026 Billionare Tax, the danish military evacuates a US submariner in need of medical care, Italy launchign an investigation into the murder of a Winter Olympic guard, Columbian nationalists impersonating federal judges in New Jersey arrested for defrauding migrants $100K, the brother of a slain california surfing legend warning that his death in Costa Rica is more nefarious than it seems, a British journalist accuses western animal rights campaigners of forcing a double standard in Morocco, the death of Apocalypse Now, The Godfather actor Robert Duvall at 95, and more hit this week's news.

Tech Talk
This week, technology and victimization were topics in this week's News of the Cyber World. While Apple had made a recent statement that children are prevented from uploading or receiving nude images, that's not enough for West Virginia now suing Apple as its iCloud service has become the largest worldwide distributor of child porn. And a new report indicates a massive rise in Cryptocurrency towards illegal content, be it online scams, human trafficking or child sex abuse operations, all funds sent to one site or another eventually being traced to a growing criminal ecosystem in Southeast Asia. Palantir moves its headquarters from Denver to Miami like so many other tech firms, ByteDance hit with a Cease-and-Desist order on its deep-fake AI movie system using its content, Elon Musk shuts down Russia's hijacking of Starlink, crippling their military, and much more in this week's cybernews.

Development Discussion
For those wondering about What's Up among fellow RMers, DerVVulfman was looking into creating an Anti-Lag system. He released a precursor set of scripts, later crafted flags that could be added to event names to control their participation in the script, and later worked more upon getting as much FPS as possible. Meanwhile, Remi-chan has been working out more combat scenes in Fantasia, revealing a video clip from one of the battles she had retooled. Along with that, she posted new characterset artwork by Xiie/Rune while waiting for more content from her portrait artist, Pjcr.

With new artwork comes with new dialogue scenes. And within the Maps and screenshots thread, one can see the characters of Robin, Raira and Fatty at their best and occassionally worst.

Scripts Database
RPGMaker XP (RGSS) Engine
Who would expect that in a game where monsters may pop up randomly, that you would be able to decide upon whom you fight? Thanks to ChooseFoes for RPGMaker XP, kyonides now grants the player that option. Rather than immediately entering battle when the classic random encounter system is triggered, you are able to select your combatants with a simple menu. A bug fix and two new options appeared only a day later.

DerVVulfman spent some time to ensure timely updates of the field map with Cameron's Anti-Lag. Like other RPGMaker XP systems, it is designed to reduce lag caused by an excess of events within the field map. And like a fair number, one is able to label which enemies are affected and which are not. He even gave kudos to Zeriab who had suggested some time ago the idea of reducing lag caused by an excess of common events. Hours later, an update was given so scripted calls could affect one of the system's mechanics.

DerVVulfman noticed that some of the demos within the database had vanished, primarily due to the filesharing sites having vanished. For this, he reuploaded both NetPlay 2.0 and Mr.Mo's ABS.

Even though the scripts to numerous features by Rataime were available in the forum and a demo by DerVVulfman was available, that was not enough. DerVVulfman discovered an apparently updated demo by Rataime that covered Rataime's Image Save Files, Sprite Mirror, Sprite Reflection, Sprite Shadow, Sprite Sun and the Destruction Engine. It did not cover his Visual Equipment script as Rataime decided to instead include a Passability Tool for those wishing to test their maps for errors.

Resources Database
2D Resources
Everything is green to go within the Various RMXP sprites by Ace_V, though this time, Ace_V's character of Ivy is not wearing her normal emerald outfit. Now you may bare witness to Ivy in an old-world dress of saffron, and have a collection of emotional reactions to match.

Creativity Section
Music and Audio
Within the various auditoriums of our forum, a new composition has appeared filled with meloncholy. For within DoubleX's Music Room, a composition entitled "Forsaken Roots" begins with a delicate but somber piano melody that is acocmpanied soon after by haunting woodwinds. Meant to symbolize the memories of one's past home now lost, the bridge begins replacing the piano with the disquieting harmony of a choir as one must abandoned what was and look elsewhere.

Art and Design
Things got hot within Save-Point's art gallery when a new full-body portait appeared within Remi-chan's Neato Arty thread thing!. Within a firey maelstrom of copper, goldenrod and brick, a maiden clad in carnelian and hair of crimson appears. One of her admittely faster works, this is the first time that Remi-chan brushed a full-body painting of Kira Honojiko, one of the blood maiden succubi within her video game universe. And as per her wont, an eleven minute speed draw exists to see how this dark skinned temptress was invoked.

Literature
A tale of death and carnage, of war, bloodshed and charred bodies that was a sweet song to a terrifying force is that which now appears within the pages of Remi-chan's Writing Snippets~. Part of the backstory for one of the Hellfire maidens that appears within her gaming universe, it is a tale of war, death and a return to the battlefield and the lust for slaughter.

Well, that's it for this week.
